This is another version of the large white barn cat, Whitey, simplified, much more stylized. I love his big blue shadow. This one also has pink cheeks, to symbolize his basic loving pure nature. He was once a feral cat, I'd see him roaming the hills, crying, or mewing loudly, even though he was a huge tom cat. One day I called him, and he ran up to me, then terrified, ran away. But little bowls of food, out by the barn slowly did the trick. In a couple of weeks, he was a contented barn cat, ruler of the ranch. A little more time and I was able to pick him up to admire his most wonderful large, soft paws. |
