"Well Being"

original is: oil on canvas,

The feeling of this painting evolved during it's development,
mostly in the expression on the persons' face. At first it was
forlorn, unsure, trying hard to figure out what to do next.
However as the Cat evolved it became one of those that
   exude "well-being". A little bit later that same afternoon,
the person resolved the doubt, becoming self assured, with
   the cat beaming in the background

While working on this, I met a woman who looked
just like this person, she was from Portugal, a place I love.
She had a strong, beautiful face, my favorite kind - one could
   not really tell if she was a man or a woman.
