"Honor All Beings" |

This turtle passed by my studio in California one day, heading away from the stream. Where was he going? His shell was actually a deep dark green, but his being was so alive, and mysterious I had to paint it with lots of color. He seemed small and vulnerable, although he was quite large for a turtle. I was again wishing to express my desire that all beings honor each other's presence. We humans, who are so very large, often forget there are other beings who share this planet with us. Honor all Beings, is a request, a suggestion to pause and see all beings that cross our paths as friends. |
