June, first exhibit

It wasn't well attended, but just the right people appeared. An exhibit with some new friends at a warehouse gallery in downtown Albuquerque. It was up only for the weekend.

It was called the "Summer Salon Show with the Daily Painters New Mexico",  at the SCA Contemporary Art gallery.

Here are some quick photos I took of my exhibit space.  I showed some paintings that were actually in progress and some of the large wash drawings on paper, unframed.

The large drawings were directly derived from my sketchbook. One from Portugal, and one from observing the kids in the skating rink -before actually getting around to putting on my own skates, and one from following a large horse around my backyard.

The last photo shows one of my admirers, she loved the "Skaters" the best.

Back to work,
See you in a while! ~ Paula
