This image was part of a series I called the "Cat and Bowl Series,
A Non-Serious Investigation into the Art of Listening. "

This idea for this originated with a small pen and ink drawing. I loved the implied
companionship and of course there was the empty bowl to be considered. Is it wishing
o be filled? Or is it simply in waiting, a vessel to be filled when the time is right?
Sometimes it's difficult to appreciate the difference.
