This
cat was part of a series I called the "Cat
and Bowl Series, A Non-Serious Investigation into the Art of Listening." This brave strong cat is posed beside an empty bowl. The zen question might be, what is empty? Is it lacking something, or is it an emptiness that allows for filling? For this artist, the cat represents well being, the bowl, a quiet mind and the crescent moon is a matter of perspective: from another viewpoint it’s full. |
