   Another one of my favorite things is to paint apples,
they are so simple and beautiful. All so different, each has
   it's own character, like anything else in this grand life.

     This one was painted on a piece of 100% cotton museum
quality board that was coated with gesso, (essentially
a primer coating that protects the cotton fibers from the oil
   in the paint. ) There is a 1/4" border, and the slightly rough
edges of the paint can be seen. It will probably have to be
fitted with a custom frame.
